Description island Île de Béniguet

The uninhabited very small island of Île de Béniguet (local name Île de Béniguet ) is part of (the island group) Archipel de Molène and is located in the country of France, Western Europe. The distance to the mainland is about 3.8 km. The surface-area of the island is 0.60 km2 and is therefore 0.002 x times greater than the island of Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Celtic Sea and the total coastal length is about 5.7 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 2.5 km by 0.30 km (maximum width). The island is South-southwest - Northeast oriented. The highest point is only 4 meter. The coordinates (latitude, longitude) of the island (center) for GPS are 48.35 (48°20'57.6744), -4.85 (-4°51'13.9788).

It is located in the administrative unit Region Brittany (local administrative level-name région), in the Departement Finistère (local administrative level-name Département).
