The inhabited small island of Île Hoëdic (local name Île Hœdic) is located in the country of France, Western Europe. The distance to the mainland is about 15.7 km. The island lies in the Bay of Biscay and the total coastal length is about 9.4 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 2.5 km by 1.00 km (maximum width).
