The island lies in the Tyrrhenian Sea and the total coastal length is about 9.9 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 2.8 km by 1.8 km (maximum width). The island is South-southwest - North-northeast oriented. The highest point is 420 meter and is named Punta del Corvo.
