Map island HiiumaaThe surface-area of the island is 1018.7 km2 and is therefore 2.7 times greater than the island Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Baltic Sea and the total coastal length is about 349.6 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 60 km by 45 km (maximum width). The island is West - East oriented. The highest point is 68 meter and is named Tornimägi.
