Map island Vulcano

The surface-area of the island is 20.9 km2 and is therefore 0.055 times greater than the island Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Tyrrhenian Sea and the total coastal length is about 32.3 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 8 km by 3.8 km (maximum width). The island is Northwest - Southeast oriented. The highest point is 501 meter and is named Monte Aria.
